Last updated: April 14, 2025
1. Terms
These Terms govern your use of gotailsight.com and the Tailsight AI maintenance scheduling platform (together, the "Service"), operated by Tailsight, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") at 50 Liberty Drive, Suite 400, Boston, MA 02210. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
The Service helps airline operators and MRO teams schedule and plan. It is not a certified maintenance recordkeeping system. Customers remain fully responsible for official airworthiness records and all regulatory obligations applicable to their operations.
2. Service Use
- You must be at least 18 or have a parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Service.
- You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, disrupt its operation, or seek unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Unless applicable law permits it, you may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service.
- You must secure your account credentials and are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. IP
The Company or its licensors own the Service, including its text, graphics, logos, and software, which U.S. and international intellectual-property laws protect. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for its intended purpose. You may not resell, sublicense, or use automated means to extract data from the Service.
4. Data
You are responsible for content and data submitted through the Service, including fleet maintenance records, aircraft registration identifiers, airworthiness directive records, component tracking data, parts inventory information, and flight schedule files ("Customer Data"). You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit it and that submission violates no third-party agreement or applicable law.
You grant the Company a limited license to use, store, and process Customer Data only as needed to provide the Service and generate the scheduling outputs, compliance reports, and planning materials requested by your account. The Company does not use Customer Data to train AI or machine learning models without your explicit written consent. You retain ownership of Customer Data.
Tailsight generates scheduling recommendations for your planning team. You remain responsible for final scheduling decisions and all official airworthiness recordkeeping. The Service complements, but does not replace, your CAMO, MRO records system, or other regulatory compliance obligations.
5. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT SCHEDULING OUTPUTS GENERATED BY THE SERVICE WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS OR THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL SATISFY ANY SPECIFIC REGULATORY REQUIREMENT.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
